These Magic Bars are pure Christmas nostalgia in my house. I remember watching my mom bake several batches of treats for her neighborhood goodie trays like classic Fantasy Fudge, Lemon Dream Bars, Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, and of course, these Magic Cookies. She would freeze them until ready to assemble the trays, and I’d sneak a cookie bar from the freezer. Even frozen, they were my favorite!
