Ingredients needed to make this Canned Biscuit Sticky Bun Recipe
Below is a brief overview of each ingredient needed for this easy breakfast ring. To see printable recipe card with exact amounts, scroll to the bottom of this post.
- Biscuits– I use 1 1/2 tubes of Grands Buttermilk Biscuits. Whether you use Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits or store brand, use whatever you can find easily and on sale.
- Butter– I use unsalted butter, however, salted butter works great too. You will need melted butter, so stick it in the microwave for a few seconds to melt.
- Syrup– you’ll need 1/2 cup pancake syrup, or maple syrup. Any brand works, use what you have on hand.
- Brown Sugar– I use light brown sugar, this adds to the overall sweetness and once combined with the other ingredients, it creates a caramel type flavor throughout.
- Cinnamon– ground cinnamon adds to the warm spice.
- Pecans– optional, but highly recommended. You will need 1/2 cup chopped pecans or other chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds.

ARE THE BISCUITS SUPPOSE TO LAY FLAT IN THE BUNDT PAN OR STANDING THEM ON THEIR SIDES (VERTICAL). THE PICTURE LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE VERTICAL…
Kristin and Adriana
Yes, sorry about that, they are somewhat vertical to form a ring within the pan 🙂
