    FAQ’s

Is Boom Boom Sauce the same as yum yum sauce?

Yum Yum Sauce doesn’t add in the sweet chili sauce, so it doesn’t have the sweeter addition. It is a bit more watery and uses a few different ingredients. Same premise to the sauce, different flavoring and not as sweet and spicy.

Is Boom Sauce Sauce gluten free?

Yes, as long as the brands you choose are as listed above, this sauce is gluten free.

Does Boom Boom Sauce taste like Bang Bang Sauce?

While both sauces are similar, Boom Boom sauce is a bit more creamier and tangy due to the ketchup addition.

How do I make this sauce a bit healthier?

You can use an avocado oil mayonnaise to make this a bit healthier or try using plain Greek yogurt in place of the mayonnaise. It will change the texture and taste if using yogurt, however, it saves you the fat and oil from mayonnaise.

      5 stars
Finally it got warm and dry enough to grill some bone- in thighs tonight. I believe I will use it as a marinade (about 4 hours) and grilling sauce as I grill them indirect over the coals. 40 min indirect and 5 min direct.
