Calling all Chick Fil A lovers! Now, you can make their famous sauce in the convenience of your own home with this Copycat Chick Fil A Sauce recipe!

copycat chick fil a sauce made at home served with fries

Have you tried Chick Fil A sauce? If not, you are missing out! But don't worry, you can try this easy recipe and know EXACTLY why everyone goes crazy for it!

This is my kids favorite dipping sauce with their fries-and my daughter even adds some to her sandwich! Basically, it is great on everything! A few weeks back, I set out to create a copycat version because I had read that supply was down and Chick Fil A was going to start rationing their sauces. This is such a popular sauce; I knew there might be a chance it would run out fast!

So I thought, why not use that opportunity to see how my copycat skills are. I love good copycat recipes. So, I set out to make the best homemade Chick-Fil-A sauce recipe so you could make it in your own kitchen too!

My first batch was awful. I used WAY too much honey, and it was incredibly sweet. The sauce was thick, clumpy, and basically a complete failure! The second batch was a bit better, but again, something was off. By the third batch, I nailed it (in my opinion) and asked my three kids to give me their honest opinions.

We each dipped one fry into a packet of Chick Fil A sauce and then one fry into my homemade version. The goal was to not notice a difference between the two. Two of my three kids couldn't tell the difference and thought I was teasing them by not giving them the homemade version. However, my oldest could tell a slight difference because my version didn't have the same amount of sweetness to it. Together, he and I played with some combinations, and I am pleased to say it was a success! The whole family was pleased and it's one of our favorite sauces. Turns out, all you need are a few basic ingredients and it's the perfect blend that really tastes like the real thing!

Each time I make smoked crispy chicken tenders, homemade juicy burgers, or air fryer crispy french fries my kids now request this amazing sauce because it's full of all of the great flavors from the popular fast-food restaurant!! It is so simple that they even make it on their own too! When I say all, it takes are a few simple ingredients, I really mean it, ha-ha! To top it off, this sauce tastes like the real deal!

Give this addictive sauce a try and let me know what you think! Hopefully you love it as much as my family does! I hope you enjoy the classic taste of this delicious dipping sauce from the comfort of your home!

I’m intriqued by this but I feel like bbq sauce is very subjective. Some are sweet and some are spicy. What kind of bbq sauce did you use? Too much of spicy or sweet won’t give you true Chick-fil-a sauce

Good question! I tend to keep a mild, BBQ sauce in my house, no added flavors such as mesquite, or honey, chipotle, etc. The bottle is just BBQ sauce, however, I would try to keep it as close to straight BBQ as possible because the honey in this sweetens it, so it really doesn’t need anything else.
