Having three kids, all in elementary school, things are crazy busy throughout the school year. Between sports, homework, projects, and errands, there never seems to be enough time in my day. Since family dinners have always been something my hubby and I prioritize, I turn to my slow cooker at least 1-2 times weekly.
I toss some ingredients into the slow cooker in the morning and move on with my day. By dinnertime, I am able to add a salad, some veggies, bread, or fruit, and have a complete dinner on the table. The best part, we typically have leftovers to enjoy the next night, so not only do I not have to work hard to put one dinner on the table, but then I get an extra night off as well!! Score!!
