This casserole is an ultimate family favorite recipe! It has always been a favorite of mine because not only is it quick to make, but it’s a perfect side dish and great way to get a veggie on the table.

I have a habit of eating my least favorite item on my plate first, then going around and saving the best for last. This dish typically ends up as one of my last items on my plate because I enjoy it so much!

    What is Green Bean Casserole?

Green bean casserole is an American baked dish consisting primarily of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and French-fried onions. It is a popular side dish for Thanksgiving dinners in the United States and has been described as iconic. The recipe was created in 1955 by Dorcas Reilly at the Campbell Soup Company

    1. Butter- unsalted is best as you will be adding salt to this recipe

    4. Chicken Broth
    5. Cream of Mushroom Soup
