Why You’ll Love this Sticky Bun Breakfast Ring Recipe

    • Quick to Prepare– using only 6 simple ingredients, this sticky ring can be made and oven ready in just a few minutes.
    • Packed with Flavor– combining fluffy biscuits with a brown sugar glaze and chopped pecans, you have a combination that will make any mouth water.
    • Perfect for any Occasion– the perfect anytime treat whether serving for a weekend breakfast treat, brunch, an evening dessert, or snack!
    • Budget Friendly– most of the ingredients needed are ones you may already have on hand. As for the biscuits, although I love using Pillsbury grands biscuits, any brand of buttermilk biscuits works great too. Use whichever you can find on sale.

Ingredients needed to make this Canned Biscuit Sticky Bun Recipe

Below is a brief overview of each ingredient needed for this easy breakfast ring. To see printable recipe card with exact amounts, scroll to the bottom of this post.

    • Biscuits– I use 1 ½ tubes of Grands Buttermilk Biscuits. Whether you use Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits or store brand, use whatever you can find easily and on sale.
    • Butter– I use unsalted butter, however, salted butter works great too. You will need melted butter, so stick it in the microwave for a few seconds to melt.
    • Syrup– you’ll need ½ cup pancake syrup, or maple syrup. Any brand works, use what you have on hand.
    • Brown Sugar– I use light brown sugar, this adds to the overall sweetness and once combined with the other ingredients, it creates a caramel type flavor throughout.
    • Cinnamon– ground cinnamon adds to the warm spice.
    • Pecans– optional, but highly recommended. You will need ½ cup chopped pecans or other chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds.

all the ingredients needed to make a sticky bun breakfast ring.

Aww thanks! I use the 8-count package, I believe it is 16 oz. You will end up using about 13-14 biscuits total in this! Enjoy!

Yes, sorry about that, they are somewhat vertical to form a ring within the pan 🙂
