There are SO many versions of salsa chicken in the crockpot, so this is only one version, and it may be completely different from ones you have tried. It was very creamy, and was perfect to put in a tortilla, for a chicken taco type dinner!
1 lb boneless chicken breasts (thawed or frozen)
1 cup salsa (any kind you prefer)
3 tbsp taco seasoning or 1 packet store bought
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
In a slow cooker, place the chicken breasts on the bottom. Sprinkle taco seasoning on top of chicken. In small bowl, mix together chicken soup and salsa. Pour mixture on top of chicken. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Once chicken is cooked, shred with a fork and add in 1/2 cup of sour cream. Serve! *You can serve this in a tortilla, over chips, on pasta, etc.
