A creamy root beer float with RumChata added for a fun, boozy twist.

As we head into summer, my hubby and I have been trying more cocktail combinations, and I always lean toward simple drinks like my Pink Lemonade Cocktail. This RumChata and root beer combo creates an easy adult root beer float that's creamy, fizzy, and perfect for warm evenings. It's quick to make, easy to customize with diet root beer, and great for serving when you have company!

Absolutely! Just give it a stir before serving! Make sure it is used up fairly soon as you don’t want the carbonation to decrease!

1 thing missing. A Float contains Iceream. Before anyone says it i know I could just add icecream. But you can’t call it a float if icecream is not part of the recipe.

Yes! I totally agree! This is more the “taste” of a float, versus on actual float. You can also use cream soda to enhance the float taste, or of course, add in a scoop of ice-cream!

One part is more of a ratio. In this case, I used one part as a shot, however, one part is an inexact measurement. It can mean, for example, 1 ounce, 1 tablespoon or 1 cup. The key is keeping all “parts” equal

      Some people!
1 part to 3 parts IS an exact measurement depending on how much you are making.
      Don’t be a idiot!
      1oz. To 3 Oz.
      1cup to 3 cups
      1 gallon. To 3 gallons.

One part is an inexact measurement. It can mean, for example, 1 ounce, 1 tablespoon or 1 cup. The key is keeping all “parts” equal. In this recipe, I use 1 oz RumChata, 3 oz. Root Beer typically, but if making more, I increase accordingly!
