Growing up, anytime my mom would prepare this for breakfast, both my brother and I were stoked! The combination of cinnamon and sugar, combined with butter…. made a glaze that was mouthwatering. Once it started baking, the whole house would smell of cinnamon/sugar and we’d immediately know what was coming! It wasn’t made often, but when it was, we most certainly enjoyed it!
Monkey Bread is made with biscuits that have been quartered and rolled in cinnamon and sugar. Baked to perfection in a Bundt pan and inverted on a plate, the warm gooey brown sugar and butter coat the top and sides of the biscuit pieces!
Using premade biscuit dough, this comes together in less than 5 minutes!
Toss the pieces into a prepared Bundt pan, place in the oven, and a bit later…. you have a breakfast option that is sure to impress!
You can even serve as a sweet treat or snack later in the day! Plus, leftovers reheat perfectly and are just as tasty!
The perfect dish to make for having guests over, parties, or to enjoy with your family! Plus, it’s quite pretty when served on a cake tray! The glaze drizzles down it once turned over onto a plate/tray!

If monkey bread is turning too brown in oven, but it isn’t fully cooked, simply tent a piece of aluminum foil on top to continue baking.
