Garlic Cheese Crescents are soft, buttery crescent rolls are brushed with an insanely flavorful garlic and herb butter, topped with Parmesan, and baked to perfection!

    Easy Garlic Cheese Crescents

One of my favorite things to serve with our dinners is crescent rolls. Not only are they simple to make, but I can almost always find them on sale at our grocery store.

A few nights ago, I made a garlic butter sauce to brush on top of them and then sprinkled on Parmesan cheese. The end result was amazing, and these most definitely are my new favorite type of bread item to serve!!

The kids went crazy over them, and it only took an extra 2 minutes to throw together. Using pre-packaged crescent rolls, who knew that simply brushing a seasoned butter sauce on top would bring these to the next level, right?

In fact, these are actually the most requested bread item I hear from my family and what I now make even at our Thanksgiving dinner each year!!

Whether serving these for dinner, or when having company over, these Garlic Cheese Crescents are sure to be a hit with everyone!!

    Ingredients Needed

Crescent Rolls- I use 8 count, Pillsbury

    Butter- unsalted, melted

Garlic Powder- you can also use minced garlic if desired

    Oregano- dried is best

Parmesan Cheese – grated as its easier to “sprinkle”

How to prepare Garlic Cheese Crescents

    1. Open up container of crescents and roll from wide end to short end, to create a roll.
    2. Place crescents on a cookie sheet.
    3. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, and Oregano.
    4. Brush butter mixture over crescents.
    5. Sprinkle cheese on top of crescents.
    6. Place cookie sheet in a preheated oven, 375 degrees, and bake for about 12 minutes, or until slightly golden brown.
    7. Serve and enjoy!

    Recipe Variations

    • Pepperoni – add sliced pepperoni to the crescent rolls before rolling them up. This makes a great appetizer too! Dip in some marinara sauce on the side just like in my Cheesy Pull Apart Bread.
    • Cheese Sticks – use half a cheese stick in each crescent roll. Perfect with some marinara sauce.
    • Italian Sausage– add crumbled, cooked Italian sausage to the crescent rolls also before rolling up. Maybe even some Italian seasoning on top of the crescent rolls.

    How to store

Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Simply microwave for about 30 seconds and enjoy!

Freezing: Unfortunately, these do not hold up well when frozen. They are best when made and enjoyed, or stored for a few days in the refrigerator.
