A few weeks ago, I bought a package of Rhode’s dinner rolls to keep in my freezer. We made our Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bake using some, but since we had so many still in the package, I decided to pull some out and use for last night’s dinner.
If you do not have a package of Rhode’s dinner rolls, and they are not available at your grocery store, you can use a homemade dinner roll recipe, just keep the rolls chilled and coat in the garlic mixture prior to dinner rolls rising.
These Quick Garlic and Parmesan Rolls are soft, buttery and nothing short of divine. Bring them to your next holiday event, game day celebration, or dinner party as a special treat.
These were definitely a hit and were packed with flavor. In fact, my kids begged me to make these again!
This recipe makes 20 rolls, so feel free to cut in half, or make all 20 and freeze the leftovers!
Ingredients Needed for these Quick Garlic and Parmesan Rolls:
Butter, melted
Garlic, minced
Italian seasoning
Parmesan cheese, grated
Frozen dinner rolls (rise and bake kind)
Directions:
Pour the butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a bowl and mix well.
Add in the Parmesan cheese and whisk until all mixed.
Place dinner rolls into a large bowl and pour garlic mixture on top.
Toss rolls until all are evenly coated.
Place rolls into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
Cover dish with plastic wrap and allow to rise for 3-5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Remove plastic wrap and bake in a preheated oven, 350, for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Using only 5 ingredients, these rolls come together in no time and are packed with flavor! In fact, everyone will think you spent hours in the kitchen making these! Our little secret as these take no time to prepare! Soft, pillowy, buttery, with just the right amount of garlic and cheese. The tops and sides get golden and crispy from the Parmesan cheese, and it takes frozen rolls from ordinary to extraordinary.

What’s the point in leaving your rude comments “Anonymous”? I think it’s called “Quick and Easy”. That’s exactly what this RECIPE is! I think it’s a fantastic idea! Rhodes rolls are great and they sound even better with the suggestions here! I will be making them tonight!
Kristin
Thanks Beckee!! Did you try them?? If so, what did you think of them??? 🙂

This isn’t a recipe lol. MAKE THE BUNS!!! Here you are just enhancing someone else’s recipe (the buns!) sad…
Kristin
If you prefer to make your own “rolls”, I have included our homemade recipe for those in the post. Using the Rhode’s dinner rolls is just an easy way to skip a few steps. Thanks, 🙂

Do you thaw or partially thaw rolls before coating?
Kristin
Nope, you can take directly from the freezer and coat them. They will thaw as they are rising under the plastic wrap, 🙂

Is the butter melted?
Kristin
Yes, I have corrected the recipe, sorry about that, 🙂

I cannot find frozen dinner rolls here only the frozen bread dough. will that work if I cut it into roll size pieces.????
Kristin
That should work just fine, or you can make our homemade rolls in place of the frozen, https://thecookinchicks.com/2014/03/butter-rolls-bread-machine/
