Monkey Bread Muffins

Our original monkey bread recipe has always been a favorite of mine, however, these muffins may just be my new go to recipe. They were so simple to make, my kids and family ate them up happily, and we were able to enjoy them both Saturday and Sunday! They turned out so cute and these would be perfect for a get together with family/friends, a special treat for the kids in the morning, etc.

Ingredients:

2 cans refrigerated biscuits
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Spray a muffin pan with cooking spray. Set aside. Melt the butter and add in the brown sugar, stirring until combined. Add 1 tbsp of butter mixture to the bottom of each muffin cup. Cut each biscuit into 5-6 pieces. In a gallon sized bag, add the sugar and cinnamon together. Drop the biscuits into the bag and shake to coat each piece thoroughly. Add about 8-10 biscuit pieces into each muffin cup. Place muffin tray into preheated oven, 350, and bake for about 13-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool about 2 minutes. Flip muffin tray upside down onto a plate or serving tray. *This allows the glaze to coat entire muffin* Serve!!

Oh my lord, making these now! Sounds and looks absolutely delicious! And so easy too! I love to bake from scratch, but sometimes you need something easy to satisfy the family, and I think this is it! Thank you so much!

Wish I had biscuits in the fridge right now. I guess I could always make some dough real fast, but I’m too lazy right now! Pinning this to save for later. I love the idea of making it in muffin tins instead of a big loaf pan! Thanks!

I make monkey bread all the time but I make my own bread dough and just cut that into pieces and then coat them. My kids help me and it ends up being a great time with my kids. Cant wait to try them in the muffin pan.
