What’s Cooking This Week?
Monday: Mom’s Classic Meatloaf
We’re kicking things off with an old-fashioned favorite! Mom’s Classic Meatloaf is one of those dinners that never goes out of style. Serve it with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite roasted vegetables for a classic family meal. Sometimes the simplest dinners really are the best!
Tuesday: Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta
Let’s add a little kick to Tuesday! Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta combines smoked sausage, tender pasta, Parmesan cheese, and Cajun seasoning in a creamy sauce. It’s ready in about 20 minutes, making it a great choice when you need something quick but don’t want another boring dinner.
Wednesday: Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops
Halfway through the week, we’re keeping things simple with Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops. These pork chops have a sweet and garlicky glaze that pairs perfectly with rice, steamed broccoli, or roasted potatoes.
It’s a nice change from the usual chicken dinners and doesn’t require a bunch of complicated sides to make a complete meal.
Thursday: Mom’s Vegetable Beef Noodle Soup
With November just around the corner, a big pot of homemade soup sounds pretty good! Mom’s Vegetable Beef Noodle Soup is filled with beef, vegetables, and noodles for a filling dinner that’s perfect for cooler evenings.
Add some warm dinner rolls or crusty bread for dipping, and you’ve got dinner covered. Plus, leftovers make a great lunch the next day!
Friday: Halloween Meatballs
We’re ending the week with a little Halloween fun! Halloween Meatballs are a festive way to celebrate without spending hours in the kitchen.
Whether you’re feeding the kids before trick-or-treating festivities or just want something different for Friday night, these are a fun addition to the dinner table. Add your favorite sides and let the Halloween weekend begin!
A Few Tricks to Make Dinner Easier
No tricks here, just a few ways to make this week’s dinners run a little smoother!
- Plan your sides early: Mashed potatoes, rice, steamed vegetables, and dinner rolls are all simple options that work with several meals this week.
- Get ahead on Monday: If time allows, prepare your meatloaf mixture earlier in the day so it’s ready to bake when dinner rolls around.
- Keep Tuesday simple: Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta comes together quickly, so it’s a great choice for one of your busiest evenings.
