    These Halloween Meatballs are spooky, fun, and ready in minutes! Perfect as a party appetizer or kid-friendly dinner, they're always a hit.

Even though my kids are older now, I still enjoy making a few festive favorites each year. These mummy meatballs are a tried-and-true family favorite that everyone looks forward to!     • Crescent Rolls: 1 can (8 count). Any brand works, but Pillsbury rolls are tried and true.
    • Meatballs: Use your favorite pre-cooked frozen meatballs or make homemade (recipe included below).
    • Black Olives: Optional for mummy eyes. Other options: mini pepperoni, red pepper pieces, diced onion, or edible googly eyes.

    How to Make Easy Halloween Meatballs

    Step 1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll out crescent rolls on a cutting board and pinch seams together to form one large sheet.

    Step 2. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough sheet into 20 strips.

    Step 3. Wrap each meatball with a strip of dough to create the mummy effect, leaving a gap for the eyes.

    Step 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crescent dough is golden brown.

    Step 5. Remove from oven and place black olives (or other eye options) for the mummy eyes.

    Homemade Meatballs Option

    If you prefer homemade meatballs:

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 2 large eggs
    • ½ cup milk
    • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
    • 1 cup bread crumbs
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • ½ teaspoon oregano
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon parsley (optional)

    Instructions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Form 1-2 inch meatballs and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through.

      How do you get the eyeballs to stick? Mine fell off.

        I tuck the olive slices under the crescent a bit to get them to stay. Another trick I have heard of it to use a bit of marinara sauce as the “glue” to get them to stick.
