How to Make Easy Halloween Meatballs

Step 1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll out crescent rolls on a cutting board and pinch seams together to form one large sheet.

Step 2. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough sheet into 20 strips.

Step 3. Wrap each meatball with a strip of dough to create the mummy effect, leaving a gap for the eyes.

Step 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crescent dough is golden brown.

Step 5. Remove from oven and place black olives (or other eye options) for the mummy eyes.

Step 6. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, over spaghetti, or enjoy as a fun snack!

Such a creative idea for spooky season! The olive “eyes” are a clever touch, and the crescent dough makes it extra festive.
Kristin Hayes says
So fun!! Can’t beat the spooky eyes!!
Maria says
This is the best Halloween appetizer ever! I had a bit of trouble with the olive eyes, but I took your advice and used sauce to act as glue. It worked!
Beth says
This is such a fun idea! I love seeing a savory Halloween option instead of the standard sweet stuff.

How do you get the eyeballs to stick? Mine fell off.
Kristin says
I tuck the olive slices under the crescent a bit to get them to stay. Another trick I have heard of it to use a bit of marinara sauce as the “glue” to get them to stick.
