bite sized halloween treats made with pretzels, hershey kisses, and candy corn

Each Holiday, I try to make festive pretzel kisses. Not only are they simple to make, but my kids enjoy making them with me. In fact, as they get older, I put them in charge of making these on their own and they love it!

I am strong believer of getting kids into the kitchen at an early age. When they are little, have them help you unwrap ingredients, count, stir, and dump things into the bowls. As they get older and more experienced, you can give them more responsibilty. My kids are now teenagers and my oldest makes dinner on occasion and my daughter is quite the little baker every time she gets a sweet tooth craving. Its a fun way I have found to spend time with them and create fun memories, plus, not having to cook dinner or desserts sounds like a win to me, right?!

Since I typically use the holiday assorted M & M’s, this Halloween I decided to try these with candy corn instead. Not only are they so cute and perfect for the day, but my kids LOVED the addition of candy corn.

If you’re not a candy corn fan, no worries, stick to using the M&M’s instead, or just give it a try because the chocolate kiss does mask the full flavor of the candy corn!

I am taking my youngest kiddo to a Halloween themed play date this morning and these will be coming with us. They are the perfect mix of salty and sweet, with an added crunch from the pretzel!

Whether you make them for a friend, goody bag, or themed snack, these are perfect and quick to make!

Enjoy and hope you all have a Spooky Halloween!!!

    Ingredients Needed:
