Can you believe Christmas is almost here?? I am so excited!!! I love eating all the goodies, seeing all the lights, decorating the house, and more. There are so many yummy recipes to make, and I plan on making TONS!!
Each year, I make several batches of these pretzels with my kiddos and pass them out to neighbors, friends, family, and teachers!!!
Sweet and salty, these treats are fun and addicting. Use regular M&M’s when it’s not Christmas time and you’re craving this delicious treat.
Tips for making these Christmas Chocolate M & M Pretzels:
Use a fresh bag of pretzels. I have found that if the pretzels are not fresh, they lose their crisp/crunchiness quickly.
Enjoy these within 2-3 days OR freeze them until you are ready to enjoy!
Prepare these in small batches as to avoid burning the Hershey kiss and to allow time to push the M & M into the chocolate quickly.
Store these treats in an airtight container for longer freshness.
Feel free to change up the flavor of the M & M’s if desired (mint, peanut butter, caramel, etc.)
Use a Rolo caramel in place of a Hershey Kiss for a caramel variation.
Ingredients Needed:
- Mini Pretzel Twists
- Hershey kisses
- Christmas Colored M & M’s
How to prepare:
- Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and place pretzels on top. Line them up so none are on top of the others.
- Place a single Hershey kiss on top and place in a preheated oven (275) for about 5 minutes, or until the Hershey kisses are somewhat melted.
- Remove from oven and press one M & M on top. Make sure you press the M & M down firmly as to spread the Hershey kiss flat.
- Allow to cool and enjoy!!!

Just made these. The chocolate didn’t melt. As I added time, nothing, however, the chocolate did burn. Total waste! I was so excited to try these with my grandson. 275Degrees for 5 minutes doesn’t work. I used chocolate kisses.

Did the chocolate soften at all? Were they a new bag of Hershey kisses? I am so sorry to hear that! Let me know so I can try to trouble shoot!

Oh no, we are so sorry that you had a wasted batch. We have made these several times and make it at 350, but I will admit I have to watch it extremely close as I have ruined a batch or two myself. I will try it at 200, thats a great idea! Sorry about the batch, hopefully making it at 200 worked great for you and you were able to enjoy them, : )
Thanks for letting us know!!

350 degrees is way too high for 5 minutes… I just wasted a whole batch by following the instructions to a T since it was my first time… it should be about 200 degrees for 4-5 mins.
