September is in full swing, and busy weeknights are back in full force with school, activities, and packed schedules. This week’s meal plan is filled with easy family dinners that make getting everyone fed a little simpler.
From a slow cooker chicken dinner and buttery seafood to an easy casserole, tender beef tips, and cheesy sliders for Friday night, there’s plenty of variety on the menu this week.

What’s for dinner this week?
Monday starts the week with Crock Pot Chicken Stew, an easy slow cooker dinner filled with tender chicken, vegetables, and plenty of flavor. Get everything going earlier in the day and dinner will be waiting when you’re ready.
Tuesday we’re making Garlic Butter Shrimp and Scallops. Shrimp and scallops are cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce for a quick seafood dinner that’s perfect with rice, pasta, or your favorite vegetables.
Wednesday brings Chicken Tater Tot Casserole to the table. Tender chicken, a creamy filling, cheese, and crispy tater tots come together for a family-friendly casserole that’s perfect for a busy school night.
Thursday is Crock Pot Beef Tips, an easy slow cooker dinner with tender beef and a flavorful gravy. Serve it over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a simple dinner everyone can dig into.
We’re wrapping up the week with Philly Cheesesteak Sliders on Friday. Loaded with seasoned beef, peppers, onions, and melted cheese, these sliders are a fun way to kick off the weekend and are perfect for football season, too.
A few ways to simplify dinner:
Prep the vegetables for Monday’s Crock Pot Chicken Stew the night before so you can quickly get everything into the slow cooker in the morning.
For Tuesday, have your shrimp and scallops thawed and ready to go. Since seafood cooks quickly, this is a great dinner to save for a night when you don’t have much time.
Wednesday’s Chicken Tater Tot Casserole can be assembled ahead of time so all that’s left to do around dinnertime is add the tater tots and bake.
Get Thursday’s Crock Pot Beef Tips started earlier in the day and choose an easy side like mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles to serve with them.
Friday’s Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are perfect for a casual dinner at home. Add chips, fries, a salad, or fresh fruit salad and you’ve got an easy meal that’s also great for watching the game.
