Over the weekend, my dad went salmon fishing. He caught a 12lb salmon and brought it home. My hubby and I were given half of it and grilled it that same night. Talk about fresh salmon huh? It was delicious and super simple. We didnt want to add too many spices to it to take away from the fish flavor, so this is a basic recipe! Enjoy!
Salmon Filet (any size)
Johnnys Salmon Seasoning
*If you dont have the seasoning, using salt/pepper will work as well
Rinse filet and pat dry. Rub olive oil on fish and sprinkle some of the salmon seasoning on top. If you dont have salmon seasoning, sprinkle some salt and pepper on top. Place salmon on a preheated grill grate and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side. Fish is done when it flakes easily, try to avoid overcooking as the salmon will become very dry.
