If you are like me and LOVE cookie dough and brownies, this will be a huge hit. Its literally cookie dough on top, only no egg in it, making it safe to take spoonfuls of. YUM!!
I made another version of these before, and these are just as yummy….and a little easier! Enjoy!
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup salted butter, melted
2 cups light brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup salted butter, at room temperature
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoon flour
2 cups mini chocolate chips
Prepare the brownies: Preheat oven to 325. Grease 9×13 baking pan. In a medium bowl, melt chocolate in microwave, careful not to burn chocolate. Once melted, set aside to cool. In another bowl, whisk together butter and brown sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in melted chocolate. Whisk in flour and mini chocolate chips, do not overmix. Spread batter into greased pan and bake in oven 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Prepare the cookie dough: In a bowl, mix together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Mix in vanilla and milk. Mix in flour until just combined. Add in mini chocolate chips. *At this point, I put my cookie dough in fridge until brownies were completely cool.
Once brownies are cooled, spread cookie dough over brownies. Place pan of cookie dough brownies into refrigerator until chilled. Use knife to cut desired size of brownies.
