Christmas Chocolate M & M Pretzels

Can you believe Christmas is almost here?? I am so excited!!! I love eating all the goodies, seeing all the lights, decorating the house, and more. There are so many yummy recipes to make and I plan on making TONS!! Each year, I make several batches of these pretzels with my kiddos and pass them out to neighbors, friends, family, and teachers!!!  Inexpensive, salty and sweet, and the perfect treat!!

Hope you are all enjoying this Christmas season as much as we are!

Ingredients:

1 bag Mini Pretzel Twists
1 bag Hershey kisses (I found that the regular chocolate ones work best, the other flavors tend to melt too fast, burn, etc)
1 bag Christmas colored M & M’s

Directions:

Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and place pretzels on top. Line them up so none are on top of the others. Place a single hershey kiss on top and place in a preheated oven (275) for about 5 minutes, or until the Hershey kisses are somewhat melted. Remove from oven and press one M & M on top. Make sure you press the M & M down firmly as to spread the Hershey kiss flat. Allow to cool and enjoy!!!

Quite simple right??

350 degrees is way too high for 5 minutes… I just wasted a whole batch by following the instructions to a T since it was my first time… it should be about 200 degrees for 4-5 mins.

Oh no, we are so sorry that you had a wasted batch. We have made these several times and make it at 350, but I will admit I have to watch it extremely close as I have ruined a batch or two myself. I will try it at 200, thats a great idea! Sorry about the batch, hopefully making it at 200 worked great for you and you were able to enjoy them, : )
Thanks for letting us know!!
