Cast Iron Skillet Brownies

I am a total sucker for brownies!! Doesnt matter how full I am, I ALWAYS have room for a brownie! My hubby bought us a cast iron skillet a few weeks back and when I came across this recipe on Pinterest, I knew I had to try it. How neat, cooking brownies in a skillet hehe! These came out so yummy and full of that delicious chocolate flavor!!

1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
8 oz choc chips

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix together sugar and eggs. In a different bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, and salt.
In a medium sized cast iron skillet, bring butter and cream to a simmer over medium-low heat. Add chocolate. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool 5 minutes. Add chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture, until well mixed. Fold in flour mixture. Pour batter into skillet. Sprinkle some additional chocolate chips on top. Bake in oven about 40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm or at room temperature!
