Cast Iron Skillet Brownies

These easy homemade Cast Iron Skillet Brownies are made entirely from scratch are sure to satisfy any chocoholic’s sweet tooth craving!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour *all purpose
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon butter *unsalted
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium sized cast iron skillet, bring butter and cream to a simmer over medium-low heat.
  • Add chocolate. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted. 
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix together sugar and eggs.
  • Add chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture, until well mixed.
  • Fold in flour, salt, and cocoa powder.
  • Pour batter into skillet. Sprinkle some additional chocolate chips on top. 
  • Bake in oven about 25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm or at room temperature!
