I was skeptical of the Instant Pot when everyone started raving about them. I didn’t think I would use it, didn’t see the point, and almost looked at it as though I was “cheating” because of the quick cook times. Fast forward to when I decided to buy one to simply test it out. I made Macaroni and Cheese for my first trial and it was a HUGE success. Better than the blue box and trust me, I am picky when it comes to mac and cheese!

From there I tried chicken dishes, pastas, chili, soups, cakes, and more and most of my trials have ended with BIG hits. Yes, I have had a few flops along the way, but I chalk that up to trial and error/learning curves, haha!

I quickly realized that the Instant Pot isn’t “cheating” because everything is still homemade, cooked from start to finish, but its much more flavor infused being pressure cooked! I am hooked and now can proudly say, I own TWO Instant Pots!

Two accessories I highly recommend are the 7 inch Springform pan (for my lasagna and cheesecakes) and non stick inner liner (makes clean up a breeze).
