Caramel Apple Cider (for adults)

January 1, 2014 by Kristin 3 Comments

On Christmas Eve each year, my parents stay the night over at our house, so that on Christmas morning, we are all together and can watch the kids open their presents. On Christmas Eve, once the kids head to bed, the adults open their presents and enjoy yummy snacks and drinks. This year, I decided to make this for the occasion. Not only did it have a yummy flavor, but since it was warm, it was the perfect drink to have while listening to Christmas music with family!

Ingredients:

4 mugs worth of apple cider
1 mug of Caramel Vodka (more or less as desired)
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

In a pot, pour the apple cider inside and heat over medium low heat. Once warm, add in the ground cinnamon. Once mixed, remove from heat and add in the vodka. Stir until all combined and pour into mugs. *You want to remove from heat before adding in the alcohol as to avoid the alcohol burning off.

They ALL sound so yummy! Can’t wait to try them. Hmmm. Which one first? Salted Caramel Martini? Eggnog martini?

My thoughts exactly! However, my absolute favorite is by far the Salted Caramel. So tasty next to a fire around the Holidays! Enjoy!
