Using only 6 ingredients, this Camp Bread comes together in no time and is packed with flavor! The perfect addition to any meal!

french bread smother in mayonnaise and Italian olive salad, then baked to perfection to create this camp bread

A while back, my neighbors had us over for dinner. They made an amazing dinner consisting of crawfish etouffee, corn salad, and camp bread.

Upon my first bite, I knew I needed the recipe for the camp bread. It was packed with flavor and was the perfect side to the meal!

Mayonnaise, Olive Salad, and more smothered on top of French Bread and baked to perfection! A creamy, cheesy, and flavorful addition to any meal!

When I asked them to how to make it, I fully anticipated a ton of ingredients and directions, but nope, it was simple and most of the ingredients are ones you either have on hand or can easily find at your grocery store.

This bread is definitely not calorie friendly, but trust me, it is well worth the calories!!

mayonnaise and Italian olive salad combined and spread onto French bread, then baked

You may be wondering where you can find the Italina Olive Salad and luckily, there are actually a few brands sold at your grocery store. The one used in this recipe is from a Louisiana company, but it looks to be sold at Walmart, on Amazon, Kroger, and more!

If you are at your grocery store and can’t find this specific brand, no worries, any olive salad will work!

What can you use if you can’t find olive salad? Can you chop a bunch of olives?

This looks delicious! I’ve never used olive salad and wonder, do you have to drain it before adding it to the rest of the ingredients?
