This Bread Machine Breadsticks recipe is very easy and produces fantastic homemade breadsticks using the convenience of a bread machine! Fluffy, soft, and flavorful!

tender, fluffy breadsticks made in the bread machine

Growing up, my mom had a bread machine and would make our family all sorts of yummy creations! From cinnamon bread, garlic bread, bread machine beer bread, white sandwich bread, and more! In fact, she had a cinnamon roll bread she would make every Saturday and we would wake up to the house smelling incredible!

When I got married, I casually mentioned to her how I needed to get a bread machine of my own, to start making some breads for my husband and me. Since my brother and I had both moved out of the house at this point, she wasn’t making breads like she used to, and decided to give me her bread machine.

I immediately put it to good use and that bread machine is still going strong. In fact, it works just as good as brand new and is currently about 25 years old! Impressive, right?!

Now that I have kids, they are little bread lovers, and these breadsticks may just go down as their most favorite!

Soft, chewy breadsticks that take only minutes to prepare! The perfect addition to any meal!

If I have extra time, I also like to brush some melted butter and Parmesan on top of these prior to serving. They end up tasting similar to Little Caesar crazy bread and Olive Garden breadsticks!

Ingredients Needed for these Bread Machine Breadsticks:

    Water
    Butter
    Sugar
    Salt
    Bread flour
    Yeast
    Egg white
    Italian Seasoning/Garlic Salt/Sesame seeds

    How to prepare:

Add the water, butter, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast to the bread pan in order as listed.

Place pan into machine and put on dough cycle.

When dough is ready, remove from pan and place on flat surface.

Cut dough into pieces, about the size of an egg, and roll/stretch into 6-8-inch ropes.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Cover with a towel and allow to rise for about 20 minutes.

Mix the egg white and water together in small bowl and brush the glaze on top of bread sticks.

Sprinkle desired toppings onto breadstick dough and place pan in a preheated oven, 400, for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Remove from oven and enjoy!!
