    Homemade Orange Rolls

As mentioned in previous posts, my hubby is a HUGE breakfast fan! He loves anything from German pancakes and waffles, to muffins, eggs, cinnamon rolls, and more! Just about anything classified as breakfast, is a hit with him!

I’m a tad more on the picky side when it comes to breakfast. I don’t like a lot of “sweet” in the morning, nothing too “bread like”, and basically…. most of the time I skip due to not finding anything that sounds good.

A few weeks ago, my daughter and hubby decided to make ooey gooey cinnamon rolls to enjoy over the weekend! Now THOSE, I enjoy and devour!

After a few minutes of watching them, I realized they were adding in steps I hadn’t seen before and using orange juice.

Little did I know that cinnamon rolls were actually orange rolls, and they were trying something new!

Why you’ll love these Orange Rolls

These sweet rolls are packed with zesty, fresh orange flavor and you'll never want store-bought again.

    • The roll is soft and fluffy and perfectly fill with orange flavor.
    • The orange sugar filling is just 3 ingredients, that gets scattered and spread evenly over the rolled-out dough.
    • The orange icing is, again, just 3 simple ingredients, mixed together in a bowl, then poured all over the top of your rolls once baked.

The only orange rolls I have ever had were the pre-packaged rolls made by Pilsbury. My mom baked those each Christmas along with her easy breakfast pizza and it became our family tradition!

I will disclose, the Pilsbury rolls and these are NOT the same! Not even close! These rolls melt in your mouth and have a fresh tasting orange filling that definitely makes you want to go back for seconds!

After watching them prepare the dough, spread on the filling, roll them up, and place the pan into the refrigerator, I knew breakfast the next morning was going to be a hit!

My hubby even woke up early Saturday to pop the pan into the oven, so these were ready to enjoy once we all woke up!

Not only did the house smell incredible while these baked, but they were a HUGE hit! We all enjoyed them Saturday and again Sunday!

If you enjoy cinnamon rolls, give these Tasty Orange Rolls a try! Make sure you let me know what you think!
