This cocktail is the equivalent to an adult milkshake! Did you know it first came about in the 60’s when someone added a bit of cream to a Black Russian (vodka and Kahlua). I’m not sure who created it, but I sure thank them!
I’m one of those people that drink my coffee with tons of creamer. I prefer it sweet, also known as candy coffee, haha! Since that’s my preferred way to enjoy coffee, this drink is one of my favorites. I’ve also done the Caramel White Russian and loved it! Pretty much any flavor vodka can kick this up a few notches (vanilla, caramel, whipped cream, etc) however, this version is probably my favorite due to its simplicity.
I use half and half in mine because its not as thick as heavy cream, but if you prefer using heavy cream, feel free! Half and half is a little lighter on the calorie side, but I won’t go selling this as a diet friendly beverage, haha!
I whipped up two of these cocktails the other night as my hubby was grilling and we enjoyed them as a pre dinner beverage. However, they are great as an after dinner drink since they are sweet like dessert!
If you are having company over and need a cocktail, or simply looking for something simple to enjoy yourself….give these a try and let me know what you think! Only 3 ingredients needed and you’re good to go!

By “part” do you mean “SHOT”

One part is an inexact measurement. It can mean, for example, 1 ounce, 1 tablespoon or 1 cup. The key is keeping all “parts” equal.
