A few days ago, my aunt emailed me to tell me about a recipe she made for dinner. She ended up sending me some pictures and the recipe, so I could blog it. This recipe was made by my great-grandma as well as my grandma. It is a Belgium recipe. In Belgium, this is considered a meat-loaf patty, whereas in other areas, it is considered a sausage. Although I have never made it, seeing the pictures and hearing how my grandma/great-grandma made this, I think I may just need to add it to my meal plan, : )

2 lbs ground beef (hamburger)
1/2 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 egg
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Worcestershire sauce, to taste
Salt/Pepper, to taste

In a bowl, mix all ingredients together using your hands. Form mixture into hamburger patties. Coat a pan with olive oil and 2 tbsp butter. Fry the patties about 3-4 minutes each side. Do not overcook these. Serve warm. *Makes approximately 8 patties.
