Parmesan & Garlic Fries

April 27, 2014 by Kristin 5 Comments

I don’t know about you, but on those nights where dinner is quickly thrown together, the last thing I want to worry about is adding side dishes. Last week, we decided to have turkey burgers for dinner. Since my hubby is the grill master in our house, he was in charge of dinner! We pulled out a bag of frozen french fries to go with it, but since I had bought the plain style, I wanted to jazz them up a bit. I decided to add some Parmesan and garlic to them and wow, they were GREAT! Now, if you have more time, these would be even better by making your own fries. Use a mandolin slicer if you have it, or just chop up some potatoes to make your own. However, if you are like me and like those easy shortcuts at dinner time, grab a bag of frozen french fries, jazz them up with this recipe, and call it homemade, hehe!!

Ingredients:

5 cups frozen French fried potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (the green can)

Directions:

Place the potatoes into a large Ziploc bag. Add in the olive oil, garlic, and salt, toss to coat. Arrange on a baking sheet. Place into a preheated oven, 450, and bake for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat. Remove from oven and sprinkle on the cheese. Serve! *You can change up the amount to add more or less flavor
