The Mai Tai is a great tiki cocktail filled with Rum and tropical fruits. Bring the Pacific Islands to your next party and enjoy this tasty drink!
Last weekend, my parents had a few of their friends over for dinner. She grilled hamburgers, made Caprese Salad, potato salad, and other tasty dishes! A few hours into the evening, I received a picture on my phone of this drink. My dad had whipped these Mai Tai cocktails up for their guests and these were a huge hit!
Since she had sent over the picture and the recipe was a hit, I called them up the next day and had my dad send me the recipe so I could blog it for you all!
Combining orange juice, pineapple juice, and rum….this drink is a tropical concoction that is sure to be a hit at any party, gathering, or just to enjoy in the evening!
Fun fact I learned as I was reading up on the drink…..”Maita’i” is the Tahitian word for “good”, but the drink itself is spelled as two words, sometimes hyphenated or capitalized.
Now onto the recipe…be sure to drink responsibly!
