Easy, oven roasted Crispy Garlic Parmesan Green Beans with seasonings and a crispy parmesan coating that is totally irresistible!
Each night, I try to serve a veggie with our dinners. Getting the kids to eat them is the tricky part though.
I always seem to have good luck with green beans, so while I was at the store a few days ago, I picked up a bunch.
Tender Crispy Garlic Parmesan Green Beans are a deliciously quick side dish recipe that come together in under 30 minutes!
I decided to play around with some seasonings and this recipe was the end result.
The kids went crazy over them, and each had seconds. My daughter is anti-vegetable, so for her to have seconds was a HUGE accomplishment.
The flavor was perfect, the green beans were crispy, and the kids ended up eating them like French fries.
All in all, I would definitely say this was a winner and a new “go to” side dish in my house!!
Ingredients Needed for these Crispy Garlic Parmesan Green Beans:
Parmesan cheese, grated
How to prepare:
In a large bowl, whisk the oil, minced garlic, egg, and salt.
Add in the green beans and toss to coat thoroughly.
Place beans on a greased baking sheet.
Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese over the beans evenly.
Place baking sheet in a preheated oven, 425, and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve immediately!!

Can I roast frozen green beans or do they need to be fresh? Fresh is best, however, you can roast frozen. The texture won’t be quite the same due to frozen veggies being flash boiled, but it will work good as well!
How can I add even more flavor to these? It’s all about the seasoning! Want to really make them packed with flavor? Add some lemon pepper seasoning, Chupacabra (see link below), Cajun seasoning, and more!
Can I layer the green beans to fit more on my cookie sheet? I don’t recommend it as keeping the green beans in a single layer helps crisp them up perfectly!
What do I use if we don’t like Parmesan cheese? No worries! Simply omit and at the end, sprinkle any shredded cheese you prefer!
