The month of March is my hubby’s birthday month. Although we don’t celebrate all month long, we do add some fun outings, meals, and adventures in honor of his special day.
Last week, my hubby told me about a drink he had heard about. It was a birthday cake martini. Say what?! Being immediately intrigued with the idea, we headed to our local liquor store and looked around. After asking some employees and figuring out what we would need exactly, we were ready to go!
My hubby whipped these up for our evening sweet treat and even rimmed the glasses with sugar sprinkles. Next time, I would possibly try birthday colored sprinkles that show up a bit more and add some more color to the glasses, but the sugar sprinkles were great too!
This drink is quite sweet, so sip it slowly and enjoy it as a dessert! It really does taste like birthday cake! Creamy, sweet, and chocolatey, just what birthdays call for! Its boozy birthday cake at its finest!
Next time a birthday rolls around, or even if you just want to pretend its your special day, whip these up and celebrate the fun occasion!
Happy birthday month to my hubby! I’ll celebrate any day these drinks are included, hehe!
Enjoy, but please drink responsibly!
