A Holiday cocktail that combines two favorite drinks into one! Perfect for an evening treat or party drink!

A glass filled with an eggnog mudslide.

One of my hubby’s favorite Holiday drinks is eggnog. Me however, I am not a fan. I think its the overall texture, but no thank you! Each year, he comes home with a half gallon to keep in the refrigerator and he and my oldest son proceed to drink it.

A few nights ago, we were making drinks when he got the idea to use some spiced cinnamon eggnog in a new drink. As soon as I heard eggnog, I immediately told him he was on his own with concocting it, hehe!! I happily sipped my apple cider and watched him set to work. After a few tastes and tweaks, this eggnog mudslide was ready to enjoy!

Since I am the curious type, I decided to have a sip and boy am I glad I did. For not liking eggnog, I LOVED this drink. The Kahlua and eggnog complimented each other perfectly and made for a wonderful drink. After a few sips, I sadly had to give it back to him and have him whip up one for me too!

We have now made this a few times since that night (which was only about a week ago), so clearly you can understand just how much we are enjoying it!!

I still cant claim to be an eggnog fan, but when mixed with Kahlua, sign me up!

This would make a great party beverage, evening treat, Happy hour drink. etc. With Christmas almost here, gather up your friends and family and try this! It surely will impress all!!

    Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!
