pe. It was definitely NOT a hit with the family, too syrupy and the sauce was way too salty. I made it my mission to find a good recipe. I read the reviews of many of them and finally found a recipe that received nothing but good reviews! We made it last night and it was delicious! Definitely much better than the one from a few months ago! Plus, this only calls for 5 ingredients, so its simple to make!
Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki
This slow cooker chicken teriyaki is incredibly simple to prepare and will have your family begging for more!

Ingredients
- 1 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 cup Sugar I used 3/4 cup
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Onion Chopped
- 1 lb Chicken Breast Thawed or Frozen
Instructions
- In slow cooker, place chicken on bottom
- Heat remaining ingredients in small sauce pan until thoroughly combined
- Pour mixture on top of chicken
- Place lid on slow cooker and cook 4-5 hours on high, or 6-7 on low
- Once cooked, shred chicken
- Serve over rice
