A cozy, creamy Gingerbread White Russian that blends holiday spices with classic White Russian flavor! Perfect for Christmas parties, holiday sipping, or a festive night in.
Add 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, ¼ tsp. nutmeg, 2 tbsp. molasses, and 1 tsp. cinnamon to a medium saucepan. Heat over medium high, to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 8-10 minutes. Allow the syrup to cool before using, and store any leftovers in an airtight container.
Prepare Drink
For the rim, add a shallow layer of corn syrup to a plate, and a shallow layer of brown sugar to another plate. Dip the glass in the corn syrup, letting the excess drip off. Then, dip into the brown sugar.
For the drink, add ice, vodka, gingerbread syrup, and cream to a cocktail shaker.
Shake well to combine and chill. Pour strained drink into prepared glass.
Slowly pour the kahlua down the side of the drink. Enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter Holiday White Russian, use half-and-half.
To make it without alcohol, swap vodka and Kahlua for cooled coffee.
Homemade gingerbread syrup adds amazing flavor: perfect for coffee, lattes, or fluffy pancakes!
