Divide half the marshmallows and half the butter into two large microwave-safe bowls.
Microwave the first bowl for about 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows and butter are melted. Stir to combine. Repeat with the other bowl.
Add red food coloring to the first bowl until desired color of red is reached. Repeat with blue coloring on next bowl.
Add half the rice krispy cereal to the red bowl, and the other half of the cereal to the blue bowl stirring to fully combine.
Grease two 9x13 baking pans with cooking spray. Add the red rice krispie mixture to one prepared pan and the blue rice krispie cereal mixture to the second prepared pan.
Spray some non stick spray onto your hands and press cereal down until cereal fully coats the pan in an even layer. Repeat until both pans are filled.
Add the festive sprinkles on top of each pan and allow to fully set up for about 40 minutes.
Once set up, use a 3 inch star shaped cookie cutter and cut out as many stars as you can from the red and blue pans.
Spread the white frosting on top of the blue star shapes and press a red star shape on top to form a sandwich. Continue until all the stars are combined into sandwiches. Serve!
