Preheat the oven to 425°F. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the olive oil along with ½ cup of the water.
Using a fork, stir until a shaggy dough begins to form. Add the remaining ½ cup water and continue mixing until the dough comes together.
Lightly flour a pizza pan or baking sheet and place the dough on top. Using a rolling pin, spread the dough into a 14-inch pizza crust, or make it smaller for a thicker crust. If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle on a little additional flour. Place the pizza pan in the oven and bake the crust for 10 minutes before adding toppings.
Remove the pizza crust from the oven and add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, seasonings, and toppings.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is lightly golden brown, about 10 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Baking powder acts as the leavening agent, so there's no need for yeast or rise time.
For a crispier pizza crust, roll the dough thinner before baking.
If the dough feels sticky while rolling, lightly dust with additional flour.
This recipe makes approximately 8 slices and can easily be customized with your favorite pizza toppings.
