seedless watermelon chunks

ice cubes

blanco tequila

oz
triple sec
or Cointreau

oz
fresh lime juice
Margarita salt or Tajín, for the rim (optional)
Fresh lime wedges and watermelon wedges, for garnish
Instructions
Add the watermelon chunks and ice cubes to a blender.
Pour the tequila into the blender.
Add the triple sec and fresh lime juice.
Blend until the mixture is smooth.
Pour into a prepared glass and garnish with fresh lime or watermelon wedges. Enjoy!
Notes
Use ripe, seedless watermelon for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
For a frozen watermelon margarita, swap the ice cubes for frozen watermelon and blend until smooth and slushy.
If your watermelon isn't very sweet, add a little agave or simple syrup to taste.
For a smoother cocktail, strain the watermelon mixture through a fine mesh sieve before serving.
For a salt rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into margarita salt or Tajín.
