These French Onion Beef Sliders are made with shaved roast beef, caramelized onions, melty smoked cheddar cheese, and buttery Hawaiian rolls for an easy dinner, party appetizer, or game day recipe everyone will love.
In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium-low heat. Add onions and cook until softened and caramelized. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half onto a large baking sheet. Layer roast beef evenly over the rolls, followed by the caramelized onions.
Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the onions, then place the top half of the rolls on top.
Melt the remaining butter and brush over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and seasoning. Loosely cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Hawaiian rolls stay soft and buttery while baking and work perfectly for sliders.
Freshly grated cheese melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
For extra flavor, serve with warm Au Jus or beef broth for dipping.
Try Swiss, Provolone, mozzarella, Gruyere, or Gouda in place of smoked cheddar cheese.
These sliders are great for parties, game day, holidays, and easy family dinners.
