softened

medium-large banana
mashed

semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter, eggs, both sugars, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
Add the flour and mashed banana, mixing until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting.

Use a ripe banana with brown spots for the best flavor and sweetness
Do not overbake to keep the brownies soft and fudgy
At high altitude, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda so the brownies rise better
