This easy Brown Sugar Bread is soft, moist, and full of warm cinnamon brown sugar flavor in every bite. Made with simple pantry ingredients and no yeast needed, this quick bread recipe is perfect for breakfast, snack time, or dessert!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 3 mini loaf pans, 1 large loaf pan, or a muffin pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans, filling each about halfway full. If desired, sprinkle a little extra brown sugar on top before baking.
Bake mini loaves for 35-40 minutes, one large loaf for 50-60 minutes, or muffins for 25-30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter or the bread can become dense.
Light or dark brown sugar both work great in this recipe.
