To your crock-pot, add the beef (trimmed, with any extra fatty pieces removed).
Salt and pepper the beef to taste.
Add in the onion soup mix, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour in the beef broth and cover slow cooker with lid.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
