spaghetti sauce

spiral noodles
cooked and drained (or penne, rigatoni, frozen ravioli)

cottage cheese

Mozzarella cheese
shredded, divided

cup
Parmesan cheese
grated
Instructions
Cook the Meat:
Brown ground beef with onion, garlic, and salt in a large skillet over medium heat; drain excess grease.
Add Sauce:
Stir in spaghetti sauce and simmer until heated. Remove 1 cup of sauce and set aside.
Combine Pasta:
Stir cooked noodles into the remaining sauce.
Layer:
Spread half of the noodle mixture in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Top with cottage cheese and 1 cup mozzarella.
Top & Bake:
Add remaining noodles, reserved meat sauce, remaining mozzarella, and sprinkle Parmesan. Cover.
Bake:
350°F for 20–25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
