Ingredients

Bisquick
1
cup
sour cream
or plain Greek yogurt
1
cup
7-up
or Sprite
½
cup
salted butter
melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut butter into pats and melt in a 9×13-inch baking dish; remove and set aside.
In a large bowl, cut sour cream into Bisquick until crumbly. Stir in 7-Up until just combined.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead lightly, and pat to ¾-inch thick.
Cut out 12 biscuits using a biscuit cutter or glass.
Place biscuits in the buttered pan and bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Optional: Brush tops with extra melted butter or butter mixed with Italian seasoning and sprinkle Parmesan.
Notes
Tips for Success:
Keep 7-Up and sour cream cold for tender biscuits.
Don’t over-mix the dough; a slightly sticky dough gives fluffier results.
Use fresh soda for the best lift.
Sprite or any other lemon lime soda works in place of 7 up.
Serving Suggestions:
Breakfast: with butter and jam or sausage gravy
Dinner: alongside chicken, pork chops, or pasta dishes
