Heat oil on medium high heat. *I highly suggest a cast iron skillet for this recipe, but any skillet will work for this!!
Pound each chicken breast lightly to tenderize and flatten.
Combine the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic in a flat dish.
In a separate dish, combine the eggs and water.
Lightly coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture.
Repeat process until all chicken is coated.
Working in batches of two breasts each, place chicken into heated oil and fry for about 8 minutes, or until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear.
Set cooked chicken aside on some paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
To make gravy, using the same skillet with leftover drippings from chicken, add in the flour and stir until bubbly and brown.
Add in remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth and combined.
Allow to simmer until thickened!
Pour gravy over chicken prior to serving and enjoy!!
