  • 1 onion *chopped
  • 1 green pepper *diced
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoon butter *melted
  • 2 eggs

  • Allow to simmer over low heat while you prepare the topping.
  •  In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, melted butter, and eggs. Once mixed, fold in the cheese.
  • Pour meat mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Spread dough layer on top of meat, covering entirely.
  • Bake in a preheated oven, 400 degrees, for about 35-40 minutes, or until top layer is cooked through and turning golden brown. Remove from oven and cut into desired size pieces!
