Easy Meatball Subs

These Quick and Easy Meatball Subs are made with tender meatballs, flavorful marinara sauce, and melted Provolone cheese. Ready in no time, this dish is the perfect meal option!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese *grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion *diced
  • 4 garlic cloves *minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 sandwich rolls *sliced in half
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the beef, eggs, milk, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and Parsley.
  • Roll meat into 1–2-inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven, 350 degrees, for about 30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Remove meatballs from oven.
  • Pour marinara sauce into pan and place desired number of meatballs into sauce.
  • Allow to simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Slice sandwich rolls and toast until golden brown.
  • Place desired number of meatballs into sandwich roll with a few scoops of sauce to coat.
  • Break cheese slice in half and line up each half side by side to cover length of sandwich.
  • Place meatball sub into a 9x13 pan (you can use cookie sheet if desired) and place pan into oven.
  • Broil for about 1-2 minutes, or until cheese gets bubbly. Serve!
