Cheddar Bay Biscuits

BISCUITS
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash Cayenne pepper
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter *melted
- 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese *shredded
TOPPING
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter *melted
- 1 tablespoon Parsley leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk and 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
Pour mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just moist.
Fold in the cheese.
Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the mixture onto a baking sheet (lined with tin foil or a silicone baking mat).
Bake in a preheated oven, at 450, for about 10-12 minutes, or until slightly golden brown.
Remove from oven once baked, and in a small bowl, combine the unsalted butter, parsley, and garlic powder.
Brush mixture onto the biscuits while biscuits are hot. Serve!!
